The beginning

Proudly, anxious and with a fair bit excitement I write my first EVER Blog post. I created Empower Together Consulting to share my lived experiences to connect with like minds and like souls and to help others by using my story and the many lessons learnt on how to reconnect, empower and return to self after endings, grief, loss, trauma.

My mind returns back to understanding that in a complex world we need to keep it simple, yes there is truth in the KISS principle. At the various stages of change, growth, feeling overwhelmed and new beginnings, particularly over the last two plus years, what were the three key things I needed?

To break free of a toxic job, toxic relationship, extreme addiction to chocolate? You need to start with the why. What is it that isn't working? What is it that's driving you to want more or better? Sometimes we need to go back to self to understand what is not working to drive us to change.

Even in our darkest days we have a light inside us that if we lean into and trust and encourage it to grow we are capable of getting through or achieving anything.

This is the beginning for Empower Together and a new beginning for us to grow, empower and transform together. Join me, lets do this!
